o Perform maintenance and updates of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers.
o Work with other Linux admits to build, configure, patch and support numerous phys! ical and virtual Linux servers.
o Participate in log management and analysis, disaster recovery and fault tolerance planning.
o Participate in planning, testing, and execution of system and application upgrades.
o Daily operational activities include backup, system monitoring and troubleshooting
o Perform maintenance and updates of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
o Follow departmental and team standards for programming, configuration control, quality assurance and version
releases.
o Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the systems to ensure that the desired results are
produced.
o Compile and write documentation of system procedures and upgrades.
o Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new
requirements.
o Provide consulting to applications team and assist with project problem diagnosis and resolution.
o Participate in the! on-call responsibilities in support of a 24hrs/ 7days-product! ion systems environment.
o Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with department needs and company policies.
