Documentation Manager

OUr client, is looking for a Documentation Manager who is responsible for coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SME), ICD-10 Vendor, MMIS Business Analysts (BA), Medical coders, trainer! s, publications unit, and other agency staff to manage, facilitate, and coordinate the identification, modification and issuance of key agency documentation and program policies that are impacted by ICD-10 Additionally, the ICD-10 Documentation Manager is responsible for coordinating with other staff, as required, to address ICD-10 documentation issues and concerns.
DUTIES
Coordinate with the ICD-10 project team which consists of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), IT staff, medical coders and the ICD-10 implementation vendor, along with ICD-10 trainers and other agency staff as required to manage ICD-10 documentation
Coordinate with the ICD-10 project team and other agency staff to identify modifications to all MassHealth documentation impacted by ICD-10 (e.g. billing instructions, transmittals, forms, DLPs etc...) and program policies impacted by ICD-10
Coordinate with the ICD-10 project team and other agency staff to modify to all MassHealt! h documentation and remediate all program policies impacted by! ICD-10
Prioritize all impacted documentation & policy modifications and develop a detailed project plan/ schedule to complete the modifications within the projectâs implementation timeline.
Coordinate with the ICD-10 project team and the internal/external trainers to identify and modify E-learning materials and job aids as required
Coordinate with the ICD-10 project team and the internal/external trainers to support the review and inclusion of key documentation modifications in relevant testing, training, and implementation materials as required
Coordinate with the ICD-10 project team to support the development and issuance of communication materials to both internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate with the MassHealth publications unit to schedule and manage documentation & policy modification through-out the distribution review process managed by the unit. This includes tracking the completion of the review cycle, addres! sing/coordinating questions raised by agency staff during the agency-wide review of documentation modifications and the official issuance of the final product (e.g. post to web, mail, etc...)
Submit bi-weekly status reporting on all documentation activities within the defined project work streams (e.g. federal reporting, clinical, etc⦠) using pre-defined ICD-10 project team reporting formats; present updates to the ICD-10 Steering Committee as required
Provide key documentation review and support during all other phases of the project as required.
PREFERENCES :
Experience with managing documentation and policies within the healthcare environment is preferred (e.g. payer side)
Experience working in a fast paced environment within a project team structure and timeline
