Position Summary:
Northeastern Universityâs College of Professional Studies invites applications for a full-time, non-tenured faculty position in an innovative and expanding Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs of Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices, and in Food Industry Regulations. The position begins July 2013. The program is offered domestically and internationally, in traditional on-ground, online, and blended formats and its curriculum places a strong emphasis on regulatory strategy, emerging product categories, product life-cycle management, and international regulations. Students in the program come from diverse backgrounds and training, and represent both commercial and government s! ectors.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Additional roles can include staff management, recruiting and mentoring new adjunct faculty and teaching assistants, cultivating ties to regional, national, and international companies, and developing customized training programs for foreign regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have earned a minimum of masterâs degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, business administration, public policy, law). A doctorate is preferred. The successfu! l candidate should demonstrate outstanding teaching competence and have substantial professional experience in regulatory aspects of drugs, biologics, medical devices, or food industry regulations. The successful candidate must have knowledge of the regulatory environments in the US, EU, and other nations. Experience working in India, China, Singapore, or Brazil is a plus.
