Description: Advocates Inc. is hiring Administrative Director right now, this position will be placed in Massachusetts. The Administrative Director is responsible for the successful administration and management of the clinical, budgetary and business operations of 4 residential programs. The Administrative D! irector provides administrative supervision to all cluster employees. At times coverage in Residential program will be required in this position.
Responsibilities
Monitor individual support plans to ensure they are person-centered and support the individual's life goals.
Maintains on call availability 24 hours/day, 7 days/week or make other appropriate arrangements.
Organize staff and staffing functions to provide appropriate and efficient individual contact, services and satisfaction.
Monitor scheduling of staff across cluster to ensure economy and efficiency of individual contact and program coverage.
Manage administrative processes and requirements in consultation with Fiscal, Human Resources, Information Services, Housing, and Maintenance functions.
Manage and administer budget for cluster.
Monitor and improve job performance of all cluster staff. Ensure that multi-source performance evaluations are! conducted for all employees in cluster.
Provide on s! ite management of administrative operations of individual programs within cluster.
Maintain constructive and productive internal and external communications with staff, managers, families/guardians, providers, vendors, and funding sources.
Ensure the needs of the Individuals are addressed through verbal, written and email communication and staff receive the information pertinent to the Individuals needs.
Ensure health and safety of individuals and staff through compliance with agency policies, OSHA and other safety standards.
Ensure training for all staff in agency and division mission and values, and monitor implementation.
Attend trainings assigned; maintain necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, MAP, SOLVE, HR/DPPC).
Ensure that the clinical integrity of client programs and services are maintained.
Ensure that consumers are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates' Human Rights policie! s.
Ensure that staff receives appropriate certifications and training to perform duties adequately.
Perform physical intervention in the event of a client crisis.
Attends and actively participates in supervision and staff meetings.
Perform all duties in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures.
Qualifications
BS/BA in related field and six to ten years' related experience and/or training; MA/MS in social services preferred.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must have sensitivity to the needs of the population.
Must have at least two years supervisory experience.
Basic computer knowledge.
High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Must hold a valid drivers' l! icense. Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be w! illing to use it to transport individuals.
