Position Overview
Responsible for defining / managing the technical, timing, financials and staffing elements of the project while being the primary interface between interna! l customer and the internal engineering and management teams.

Primary responsibilities
Develop program budgets and timing from concept to launch quality and volume (SOP+90 days) Direct program execution to meet budget, timing and product requirements set by product mgt Reports on program status, key risks and action plans to internal teams, management and customers Coordinates action plans among cross functional team Manages Phase/Gate New Product Development Process Ensures volume capacity is implemented within Supply Chain and Manufacturing in time for launch Works with NPD, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure APQP execution Document and track compliance to technical and commercial requirements along with developing solutions to address any/all identified gaps Develop and maintain project primary project timelines Co-lead developing , sourcing and managing key suppliers Drive towards rapid identification and resolution of any and! all engineering related performance, cost, timing, manufactur! ing , supply base etc related issues

The position requires:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills High Energy / Flexible / Adaptable / Dynamic / can-do attitude Strong technical background with focus on electrical / mechanical / software integration Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving Business / financial acumen Familiarity with Automotive Development Processes / APQP process Ability to thrive within a rapidly changing / growing matrix organization Experience in developing and installing process disciplines

Education/Experience
Education: BS ME/EE preferred with MS / MBA and/or PMO certification desired Total years of Experience Required: 7+ yrs Industry Experience Required: 7+ yrs program management background with technical products Other Experience Required: 5+ yrs direct or matrix management of people Technical Experience Desired: High Tech ! Start-up / Hybrid Electric Vehicles / Alternative Energy / Batteries
