Qualifications
Job Summary

Provide quality, clinical services to patients in various settings in the community. Patient care is delivered within organizational philosophy, policy and standards of community health practice. The admissions process and case management responsibilities are performed in accordance with PHH policies and standards of practice, utilizing thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications. Qualifications and Experience

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing

3. ! Perform cashier functions as they relate to application fees, deposits, and bill payments.

4. Interact with various internal university departments regarding student accounts.

5. Communicate verbally and by written correspondence with students and parents concerning their financial account with the university.

6. Process all Banner student refunds, stop payments, and re-issue of checks.

7. Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, shredding and filing.

8. Process all billing for any financial aid reductions through workflow process.

9. Meet daily and weekly data entry goals. Speed, accuracy, and volume are key factors measured.

10. Process and bill all students for non- sufficient fund programs.

11. Review Aging Analysis; generate appropriate bills, and required correspondence to students.

12. Review and process refunds for Perkins and Nursing Loan program.

13. Process all meal plan redu! ctions.

14. Report and process all outside scholarships.

15. Participate in continuous process improvement with a focus on quality improvement.

16. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Accounts and Dean of Enrollment Management.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma and three years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in office work or any equivalent combination of experience and education.

2. Excellent computer skills-knowledge of Microsoft Office and of SCT /Banner product preferred.

3. Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including prospective and current students and families in a professional, customer-focused manner.

4. Ability to understand the policies and procedures of the Student Accounts office.

5. Knowledge of clerical office practices and procedures and the ability to manage multiple tasks, with attention to de! tail.

6. Ability to work independently and as a member of a te! am.

7. Ability to work accurately with names, numbers, codes, and symbols and to proofread with accuracy.

8. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations with speed and accuracy (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

9. Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgment.

10. Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships and to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

11. Ability to perform above duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

To meet a growing demand for high-throughput analysis of increasingly complex cytometric data, we are seeking an individual with flow cytometry expertise and experience in the application of statistical methodology for objective cytometry data analysis. This position requires extensive experience in the design and analysis of cytometry experiments from a diverse array of biological species, tissues and fluids. The individual in this role will also be responsible for strategic planning, ensuring access to the latest technologies, and coordination of cross-departmental strategic initiatives. Experience with the rigorous validation of assays necessary for commercial and/or clinical use is desired, along with the ability to communicate scientifically with succinct clarity to both internal and external collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and implement inno! vative fluorescent & mass cytometry technologies supporting use as pre-clinical and clinical decision-making tools.
  • Supervise research scientists in design, development, and validation of assays for internal use and transfer to external research vendors
  • Maintain dashboards on project schedules and status of deliverables.
  • May represent functional area on one or more drug discovery projects
  • Work with biostatisticians to develop and implement robust statistical methodology for the automated analysis of cell cytometry data.
  • Participate actively in as part of the Molecular Biomarkers dept. in activities that contribute to shaping processes and strategies for support of Merck drug development programs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of commercially established and nascent cell cytometry technologies by actively participating in internal technology evaluation committees and biotechnology industry contacts.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Location: Lowell Massachusetts

JOB TITLE: PATIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE
LOCATION: Lowell
Hours: PT/16 Saturday and Sunday 630am-3pm

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Patient Care Represe! ntative will contribute to the goals of Shields Health Care Group by
p roviding exceptional customer service with professionalism, efficiency and accuracy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet patients, check them in for their appointments, collect necessary copay/deductible and explain the consent form to be completed.
Distribute films/CDs as required.
Work in collaboration with technologists/radiologists to ensure proper patient flow.
Process outgoing and incoming US and inter-office mail and UPS deliveries .
Prepare set up for next day’s appointment schedule .
Provide and respect confidentiality of all customer groups .
Verify and enter necessary information into our systems.
Respond appropriately to scheduling emergency patient situations.
Answer patient and doctor concerns with accuracy, efficiency and in a professional manner.
Keep management informed of situations and conditions with potential impact on the com! pany, particular department(s) or customer group.
Remain c! urrent on any changes in policies or procedures that modify daily work functions.
Performs other related duties as required

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required Medical office or healthcare administration courses preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required Attention to detail and typing accuracy required Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology and insurance requirements is preferred. Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while simultaneously performing data entry and information intake via phone. Can be met with or without reasonable accommodation.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:
This position requires extensive interaction with all customer groups. Candidate m! ust be personable, upbeat, fast paced and organized.
