Job Description

Overhead transmission line design for voltages from 345KV to 34.5 KV.

Ability to be a lead engineer.

Ability to develop schedule and budgets.

Ability to interact with clients and in house project team members.
Proven design of at least two 345KV overhead transmission design projects.

Ability to use PLS-CADD as a design tool.

Good knowledge of NESC standards and clearance requirements and loading requirements.

Ability to design all ranges and type of structures wood poles and steel poles and prepare specifications.

Ability to define right of way criteria.

Ability to calculate conductor sizes, sag and tensions, optimize conductor span, set pole design basis, conductor arrangement and phase spacing.

Candidate Specification

Senior Engineer with BS degree or higher and 7 or more years experience in overhead transmission line design for voltages from 345KV to 34.5 KV

  • Good knowledge of NESC standards and clearance requirements and loading requirements;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills and oral and written communication skills;
  • PE or ! EIT preferred, however we encourage the advancement of engineers.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist assesses the need for, develops, and delivers physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. S/he identifies the need for and makes referral(s) to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of patients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Screens, examines and evaluates patients, including history, systems review, and application of appropriate tests and measures, synthesis information and interprets examination findings in order to establish a diagnosis, identify impairments, determine the predicted level of improvement and the time required to achieve it, identify precautions/contraindications and design and plan of care. Develops appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the physical therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services. Services such as therapeutic exercise including aerobic capacity conditioning, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanic! s and postural stabilization, flexibility exercises, gait and locomotion training, neuromotor development training, relaxation, strength, power, and endurance training; functional training; manual therapy; airway clearance techniques; integumentary repair and protection; use of electrotherapeutic, physical agent and mechanical modalities.
2. Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
3. Designs, fits and/or applies adaptive devices, and trains patients in the use of adaptive devices including orthotics and prosthetics.
4. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.
5. Puts Patient Service first: ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.
6. Instructs patient! in the skills and techniques required for participation in mobility ac! tivities, and evaluates patient progress, attitudes and behavior as related to rehabilitative potential.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
2. A Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
a. For individuals who completed appropriate Physical Therapy education prior to January 1, 2002, with a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (or related field), plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Physical Therapy will be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.
b. A foreign-degree equivalent to the first professional degree, consistent with state licensing rules, will be accepted in lieu of Master’s degree.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to perform all duties according to American Nu! rses Association Scope & Standards of Practice for Home Health Nursing professional standards and HAHHH policies and procedures.
Ability to use a laptop computer.
Ability to proficiently utilize or learn to proficiently utilize MS Office applications, e-mail, Point-of-Care software applications, and other wireless applications.
Ability to perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a diverse patient population.
Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English.

EDUCATION:
Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Nursing preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years of recent (within the past 18 months) medical-surgical experience either in an acute or sub acute setting or same experience working in a certified home health agency or licensed hospice is required. !
Previous case management or program management experience preferred! .

An equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above, may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.:
Valid and unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
Specialty nursing certification as a home health nurse, hospice and palliative care nurse or case manager preferred.
Completion of the Certified Oasis Specialist certificate preferred.
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license recognized by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and access to a reliable, insured vehicle required.

Additional responsibilities include:
Oversight of instrument installation and organization of a new laboratory space.

The scientist should require minimal training and will support methods run on the instruments and participate in the maintenance of the instruments.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
ELISA experience and/or regulated experience (GLP, GCP, or GMP)

1 year of direct Pharma experience also desired .

The Role

BenefitConnect, our proprietary software, is highly sophisticated and user-friendly, built on the .Net framework. We are looking for a developer to customize and maintain this software, and develop new solutions to meet client requirements. In this full-time position you will have the opportunity to work on the following:

Specific responsibilities:
l Systems programming using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, Classic ASP and MS SQL Server.
l Develop code per detailed specifications using specified programming languages, tools, and techniques under the direction of the project manager or team leader.
l Deliver unit-tested systems timely that meet specification functionality requirements.
l Work with team to define detailed! specifications for specific functionality requirements.
l Provide analysis for technical solutions based on functional requirements.
l Assist in determining requirements for estimating budgets and timelines.
l Provide consultative services on technical issues to clients and internal project teams.
l Participate in development of system test plans.
l Troubleshoot technical issues.
l Keep abreast of latest developments regarding effective procedures, methods, and tools in software development and testing.
l Assist team members in whatever way necessary to reach successful completion of the tasks at hand.
l Note: Limited travel may be required at times.

The Requirements

l Recent degree (Associates or Bachelors) in computer science, management information systems or related area.
l Strong knowledge of Visual Studio, RDBMS, MS SQL Server, Microsoft .Net (especially C# and ASP.Net); relevant client-server development e! xperience preferred.
l Ability to effectively work on multiple proj! ects simultaneously; strong time management skills.
l Willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment that has tight deadlines.
l Ability to learn and evaluate new tools, concepts, and challenges quickly.
l Client service focus and flexibility in supporting client requests.
l Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
l Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
