A! s a Holiday Retail Merchandise Placement Associate, you will be an integral part of bringing the magic of Macy's to life during the fast-paced holiday season. Associates in this role perform a number of functions that are critical to offering our customers the best experience when they shop in our store. While all holiday positions require working as part of a team to meet department and store objectives, your individual responsibilities may include placement of new merchandise receipts on the selling floor, moving merchandise to prepare for sales events, pulling merchandise for shipping to customers, and completing price changes. Retail Merchandise Placement Associates may also assist with clearing out fitting rooms, recover the selling floor by folding and rehanging merchandise, and organizing the selling floor and stock areas.

In order to present our customers with the best holiday shopping experience, most of our Merchandise Placement Associates start their wor! kday early in the morning or late in the evening to ensure we ! are ready to make Macy's magic. Some locations even have overnight schedules. Holiday associates will have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule on a temporary basis, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas. And don't forget - just in time for holiday shopping, you will receive an employee discount of up to 20% starting your first day!

Any scheduled hours listed in the job posting title are subject to change based on business needs. All holiday associates may be required to work hours other than those stated in the job posting title on weekends or on key holiday events, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Essential Functions:
Placement of merchandise on the

selling floor or stock area

Assist in price changing execution

Organize and maintain merchandise in stockrooms, and fill in the selling floor as needed

Lear! n Macy's systems and procedures to enhance selling efficiencies and complete support duties

Pull merchandise for online customers and deliver to the designated area on the Receiving Dock

Assist in the preparation of merchandise for shipment to customers

Provide support for major sales events

Participate as needed in selling floor recovery, including folding and hanging merchandise and clearing fitting rooms

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
No specific education or experience required

Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as memos, safety rules, policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management

Mathematical Skills:
Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to ! use a calculator.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to wor! k in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures. Ability to work as part of a team, but also able to complete tasks independently with little supervision

Physical Demands:
Position may include frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching, and the use of ladders and other equipment.

Work Hours:

As a Claim Litigation Specialist / Senior Casualty Claim Specialist , you will investigate, evaluate and adjust commercial casualty claims of a complex and/or serious nature, including the handling of litigation. Responsibilities include investigating, researching and analyzing casualty claims, including coverage, legal and statutory issues affect! ing coverage, compensability and damages. You will evaluate an! d recommend reserve and settlement values on assigned cases, conduct negotiations and attend mediations, trials, settlement conferences and hearings.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of casualty claims experience throughout New York and/or New England. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a team environment. Excellent customer service and organizational skills, strong PC skills with experience in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical ability are required. Strong preference will be given to candidates with continuing insurance education and related designations. A valid driver’s license is required.

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Haverhill Massachusetts

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor of Reimbursement & Patient Account Services , Specialist is responsible for resolution of patient account balances associated with insurance denials, answer incoming insurance and practice calls with the ability to explain charges, services and insurance billing questions. Work with practices and payers to resolve claim denials and comply with insurance and SMG procedures, guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:
Various aspects of medical billing; claim creation, claim submission, payment posting for insurance and patient balances. These denials and appeals are billed in the AthenaNet system electronically. The AR Specialist must also obtain supporting documentation, i.e., medical records, EOB’s Remits, Authorizations, referrals, etc., from through our email applications, scanning system, Medicare remittance system, and Meditech (hospital billing system). The AR Specialist will review, int! erpret and apply contractual terms. Identify and/or apply cont! ractual and administrative adjustments.

Monitor insurance denials by running reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve and recover denied claims.

Monitor aging reports for timely follow-up on unpaid claims.

Retroactive review of registration data to aid in the assurance of clean claim submittal.

Accurately document claim actions taken within patient account/claims.

Serve as a resource for problem solving issues related to registration, demographic and insurance errors.

Work payer correspondence including support tickets, emails and phone messages from internal and external contacts.

Work collaboratively with Coding, Provider Enrollment and Cash Posting team as well as coworkers, Team Leads, Managers and practice staff to resolve claim and account issues.

Assist Patient Accounts Team as needed with incoming and outgoing patient calls to resolve and collect on a patient statement.

Adh! ere to the HIPAA guidelines regarding confidentiality relating to the release of financial and medical information.

Additional duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Certified Biller preferred.
  • Strong knowledge on third party payors guidelines and procedures particularly.
  • 1-3 years experience and/or knowledge of insurance denials process.
  • 1-3 years health care claims processing, and follow-up background.
  • 1-3 years billing experience and insurance knowledge (eligibility, registration, etc.)
  • Must have knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding.
  • Prior experience with AthenaNet billing system is strongly preferred.
  • Customer / Patient Account Services Skills.
  • Successfully drives results while balancing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Possess strong verbal and wr! itten communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical skills a! nd computer skills; including Outlook, Excel and Word.
