Position Summary
This is an Entry Level position in which you will develop and maintain a proactive approach in supporting our Vendor Managed Inventory programs operating in the New England Area. This position will be responsible for managing products in the program, stock levels, inventory turns and general program support. Additiona! lly, you will conduct on-site inventories, usage reviews and p! rogram stock put-a-way as necessary. This may involve local travel estimated at 30-50% of time. You will be a key team member in the day-to-day support of 70+ programs and will become a system expert in answering customer questions. These questions may be both technical (computer, internet browser, connectivity issues, etc.) and process oriented (how to integrate the program into the customerâs existing ordering processes).
You will participate in identifying and proposing improvements to the system and an active participant in testing and deploying all system changes.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for managing products in the program, stock levels, inventory turns and general support
Conduct Physical Inventories for local area tool cribs
Analyze current inventory levels, usage rates and recommend min/max level changes
Create Usage Reviews for Outside Sales Team and/or conduct them with the customer directly

Perform sales analysis on cribs and master accounts to identify product addition/deletions
Coordinate with purchasing department to stock program items as needed
Streamline inventory at the customer locations to increase turns and reduce excess and obsolete items
Track & monitor Shelf life items before product expires
Daily review of reports on VMI programs and alert team members of any potential issues
Work closely with sales to bring potential new customers online faster
Update and develop training materials
Provide support to the customer service team as time permits
Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Experience

Solid understanding and use of Excel to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data

Develop relationships with Customers and internal sales team in order to maximize product knowledge and ensure cooperation on technical issues when ! required

Self motivated to meet goals and requirem! ents of the position with a desire to succeed
·
High school diploma or GED minimum, Associates Degree preferable
·
Effective at performing detail oriented tasks, follow up and data analysis
·
Extrovert who is observant, gregarious, curious, and seeks out opportunities to contribute
