This role will be focused on help desk activities including desktop support, images & installations, account management & end-user training. This is a hands-on role with extensive end-user interaction and will include opportunities to learn systems & network administration functions, and grow into a more senior role over time.

Qualifications: Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities :
BA or BS, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or MIS Strong technical aptitude Self starter with a strong desire to learn Answer the help desk phone Provide first level support Ability to build, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and notebook PCs Working knowledge of Windows 7/Windows XP in an Active Directory Infrastructure Familiarity with TCP/IP in a LAN/WAN environment Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Go to user offices to provide technical assistance Explain technical solutions to non-technical use! rs Manage multiple help desk tickets through the process in pa! rallel Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions Willing to learn new technologies in support of data center operations Installation & configuration of Microsoft Windows & related desktop applications On-call availability when required
