Oracle Applications System Administrator
to perform functions that are critical to implementing and managing the Oracle E-Business Suite. Including! configuring security and user management, configuring Flexfields, managing concurrent processing, and setting up other essential features such as profile options and printing. The System Administrator will effectively control security and ensure smooth operations for our E-Business Suite environment, as well as handling day-to-day system administrator tasks.
Successful candidates will possess:

Experience designing roles and responsibilities for Oracle R12.
·
Standard system administration duties to include:
·
Setting up user profiles
·
Imposing limits on what users can access through menus, security profiles, and responsibilities
·
Defining audit requirements
·
Installing printers and managing concurrent processing
·
Including, but not limited to, installation, patching and change migration, monitoring, backup and recovery.
·
Troubleshooting for Oracle application 11i/1! 2
·
Work effectively with Database Administrators, Programmers, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to complete tasks in timely manner.
·
Know or quickly learn environment - technical and business, through initiative and direction from senior staff and/or peer.
·
Ability to effectively communicate with the user community on user acceptance testing and downtime scheduling.
·
Stays abreast of new functionality and compliance in the field.
·
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
·
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills within a team environment with people at all levels of the organization
·
Provide 24*7 on-call support as and when needed.
Requirements
·
BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technical discipline
·
Implementation ! and hands-on working knowledge of Oracle R12 and 11i environments
·
Oracle e-Business 11i and/or R12 System Administration
·
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux and databases a plus
Desired
·
Familiarity with Oracle products, ie OBIEE, Hyperion, Demantra or Agile
·
Experience with SOX compliance
