Software Engineer

A software engineer with broad computer engineering background and skilled in C++ and object-oriented design and programming.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Per! form all phases of software development including design, implementation, testing, integration and maintenance for our company’s portable analytical instrument products
- Collaborate with project management, SQA and other engineering groups to ensure on-time delivery of quality products
- Create and maintain technical documentations
- Work with project management and/or technical lead to translate product requirements into technical tasks and provide estimates
- Skilled in C++ and object-oriented design and programming and in-depth knowledge in design patterns
- Experiences in embedded OSs such as such as Embedded Linux, Windows CE, Nucleus, and cross-platform development in desktop environments are highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Development experience in Embedded Linux with Qt environment is a big plus
- Development experience in Algorithm! implementation and optimization are highly desirable Experience Requirements:
- Experiences in commercial software development
- Experienced in software development lifecycle and Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum
- Demonstrated knowledge in unit test frameworks and TDD process
- Highly motivated team player and with a strong desire for continuous learning and broadening knowledge base
- BS in CS, EE or equivalent is required, MS degree is a plus.
