QUALITY TECHNICIAN
Location: Fitchburg Massachusetts
Description: Microtech Staffing Group is at present recruited QUALITY TECHNICIAN right now, this position will be placed in Massachusetts. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Monitor daily in-process manufacture and report non-conformances using established procedures. Recommend corrective or preventative actAssist in performing daily incoming and final! inspection using established procedures. Identify and report non-conformances. Accurately collect and record data, maintaining customer and vendor records using both paper and computerized methods.
Document non-conformances using the Material Inspection Reports (MIR) or Discrepant Material Reports (DMR), as applicable. Accurately and consistantly maintain customer and vendor files using established procedure(s). Perform First Article Inspection for both Vendor and/or Customer items, as applicable. Maintain accurate paper and computerized logs and reports.
Update customer and vendor files with the latest drawing as received, and mark obsolete or out-dated drawings, as applicable. Print, date and file email information, data or records in the approiate customer or vendor file.Accurately record and maintain information and/or data for customer returned items on RMA. Issue reports and identify RMA material using established procedures. Complete RMAs for retur! n to customer as required.
Maintain accurate records.! Conduct statistical audit or analysis as directed by the Quality Manager. Recommend equipment or supply purchase in order to operate and maintain the quality dept. in an efficient manner. Assist in the training and evaluation of newly hired quality dept.
