We are seeking an experienced digital marketer to manage and optimize our existing online marketing, as well as research and exe! cute new strategies to grow business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work closely with VP of Ecommerce and CMO to create digital marketing strategies for Destination XL Group and each of its divisions (i.e. Destination XL, Casual Male XL, Rochester Clothing, etc.).
Research, present, implement and manage new digital marketing opportunities that will drive qualified visitors to our websites and stores.
Work closely with Director of Media to develop/manage interactive marketing campaigns and budgets.
Manage relationship with digital search agency (paid, natural, and local).
Manage Affiliate Marketing Manager and relationship with affiliate networks.
Manage Email Marketing Specialist and relationship with Email Service Provider.
Work closely with Online Merchandisers, Online Designers, CRM group, and Web Content Team to ensure optimal/appropriate email contacts, segmentation, and creative.
Manage approval processes as they ! relate to production of digital marketing assets (ie. email an! d display ad creative).
Collaborate with Media and Customer Service Group on marketing social media applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
Share latest industry findings relating to digital marketing and eCommerce with peers.
Lead digital marketing presentations, as needed.
Adhere to best practices within the digital media space across multiple platforms including display/video advertising , email communications, search, affiliate, shopping portals, and mobile marketing.
Assess and manage digital agencies, service providers and consultants as needed.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of all advertising.
Hold self and team accountable for driving planned results .
Qualification & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is required; MBA viewed favorably.
5+ years digital marketing leadership experience required.
Strong/diverse digital marketing experience required; display/pre-roll adve! rtising, email marketing, paid and natural search, affiliate marketing, mobile, other online marketing.
Experience working with/for a multi-channel retailer is a plus.
Deep understanding of all online marketing strategies as described above.
Experience working with digital agencies and managing others.
Ability to identify digital marketing trends, oversee the development of creative elements and provide input with all interactive direct response and branding initiatives.
Strong passion for and knowledge of technology, emerging media and the Internet.
Exceptional team player with confidence and integrity.
Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
Ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
