CDPA - Accounts Receivable Analyst

MAIN FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the CDPA Director of Patient Accounts and within established ! organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for performing a variety of duties related to Patient Account billing for physician’s offices and processing of accounts payable for CDPA.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Coding professional certification (CPC) and two (2) to five (5) years health care medical billing experience preferred. Candidate with a minimum of five (5) years health care medical billing experience in lieu of certification will be considered with the expectation that certification is acquired within one year.

Previous experience in accounts receivable desired.

Knowledge of health insurance requirements.

Demonstrated proficiency in computerized medical billing systems required.
