Position Summary:
As a principal software engineer, candidate will be part of the Marketing IT team. We are looking for an outstanding individual! who will work with both the business and technical teams to support and maintain existing systems as well as provide innovative solutions for future.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into solutions.
•
Lead small to medium sized project and provide technical leadership.
•
Actively participate in all phases of SDLC.
•
Provide technical design for development to be done in house or offshore.
•
Develop discrete software modules which work seamlessly with other software integrations.
•
Independent self starter with ability to write clear understandable code using software best practices.
•
Proactively optimize long running processes in a multi-tier architecture.
•
Ability to evaluate and conduct PoCs on new tools and technologies.
•
Provid! e innovative solutions for process improvements and optimizati! on
•
Work with other IT and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of assignments
•
Support the daily and periodic processing jobs in conjunction with the offshore teams and others.
Qualifications
•
Basic Qualifications:
•
A minimum of 6 years overall technical experience
•
A minimum of 3 years work experience in .NET
•
At least 3 years experience working with high volume databases.
•
Deep knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL and unix scripting.
•
Proven object oriented design abilities, solid understanding of software engineering frameworks, tools and processes
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders

Provide technical leadership and direction on medium to large projects.
•
Ability ! to work closely with business to help with technical decisions
•
Good team player, very organized
•
Strong technical leadership skills
•
Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Experience:
•
Experience developing and working with service oriented architectures is a plus
•
CRM Marketing with Financial Accounting domain is a definite plus.
•
Masters’ degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
