we are excited to be offering Doorperson opportunities located in Boston ’s Desirable Back Bay location . In this position , you are the ambassador to the property enhancing the luxury appeal by demonstrating the most refined “first impression†to the general public and prospective residents . We will provide the necessary training for you to deliver our high standards of style, service, and personal attentiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet all residents and guests confidently and cordially upon entering the property; anno uncing and registering guests and vendors/contractors.
- Understand resident! preferences and maintain daily logs.
- Pr oactively he! lp all those entering the property or passing by who ask for assistance
- P rovide curbside /door assistance with baggage and other items, assist with local area information , and execute daily tasks in accordance with op erations.
- Be an ambassador to the property by assisting the general public with local area information and directions with a service- oriented manner.
- Maintain all areas including entryway, doors, lobby, and waiting areas in a nea t, clean, and organized manner.
- Report damages and cleanliness issues to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and accessible bell cart and assist residents as needed.
- Maintain umbrella inventory and have them readily accessible on days with inclement weather.
- Assist with the direction and supervision of moves.
- Follow emergency procedures as dir ected in the property manual.
- Addition duties, as needed.
- High School Diploma or equival ent; College Degree Preferred.
- 2+ years experience in high-impact guest service environment, Doorperson experience a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to multi task while remaini ng composed and approachable.
- Creative thinker with the ability t o resolve issues successfully.
- Knowledge of local area information , including t he arts, tourism, entertainment and sports, d ining and Shopping, and other leisure activities .
- Strong computer skills, including Micro soft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Professional appearance with a positive, outg oing, and attentive demeanor.
