The Family Planning Community Outreach Worker will focus their time and efforts around highlighting existing Harrington services! and providing education to identified population groups. Working with Harrington leadership, community groups, and other identified agencies, the individual will help develop an outreach program for teen pregnancy and family planning services. Areas of educational and outreach focus will include; STD prevention and pregnancy prevention, developing healthy relationships, and overall reproductive health.
Experience/ Requirements
Position will be funded and directed through a grant
from the Department of Public Health. Individual
will need to work with both Harrington Leadership
as well as governmental agencies. Additionally, a
comfort in working with youth ages 15 to 26 is
required.
High School diploma or GED required, an Associates
Degree preferred
Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
