Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a member of Lahey Health System,! is seeking

two BE/BC internal medicine physicians (MD/DO) interested in a position with our

hospitalist service beginning in June 2014. Our Department of Hospital Medicine

currently consists of 30 full and part-time physicians including 8 Advanced Practitioners who provide care on a 24/7 basis.

This position is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Hospitalist with a

collaborative practice style who is comfortable treating a highly complex adult

patient population with the assistance of advanced practice clinicians. The

successful candidates will possess a demonstrated ability to effectively and

efficiently interact with all levels of practitioners, patients and their families.

The successful candidates will have completed three years of training in an accredited

internal medicine residency training program and be eligible for licensure in

Massachusetts.

Lahey H! ospital & Medical Center is a non-profit 317 bed tertiary care! hospital and

outpatient clinic with a Level II trauma center. We are a major teaching hospital for

Tufts School of Medicine. This is an employed position with excellent benefits.

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is conveniently located 17 miles northwest of

Boston and a short drive to the lakes, mountains and shores of New England.
