As the sales support and service position at the Equity Residential apartment community, the Customer Support Assistant will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the proper! ty management leasing cycle including sales and marketing, customer service and lease administration. The Customer Support Assistant plays a key role in helping the community achieve very satisfied residents through customer service efforts that enhance our resident relations. He/she will provide sales support to the leasing team and assist the property manager as necessary to ensure the property can maintain a sales focus and achieve its occupancy and revenue goals. The Customer Support Assistant’s success will depend on their ability to learn from others, take initiative, and work in a team environment to achieve goals. The scheduled hours for this position are every Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Resident Relations / Customer Service (40%)
- Effectively explains lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents. Conducts move-in walks and new resident orientations.
- Promptly returns ! resident calls and responds to emails. Proactively corresponds! with residents to identify needs, and build rapport. Follows up on resident concerns to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Communicates effectively with service staff to ensure resident needs are met and conducts follow up to ensure a very satisfied resident. Contacts residents after service request is complete to ensure work was done to resident’s satisfaction.
- Assists management and fellow employees with the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Accurately and efficiently prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork (e.g., guest cards, applications, lease agreements and addenda, employment and credit checks and move-in mate
