Develops and executes marketing-based editorial products, program communications, and strategies to support StudentAdvisor.com properties, Kap! lan University and B2B2C activities.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Assists team in the development and implementation of multi-channel marketing plans to support StudentAdvisor properties, Kaplan University and B2C initiatives.
- Writes, leads and executes editorial marketing-based programs including blog posts, email, newsletters, web site, banner ads, paid search and social media efforts.
- Develops annual timelines that accurately track all activities against the corresponding marketing budget.
- Determines fiscal requirements for all activities and tracks against marketing budget.
- Manages web site content updates, graphical standards and marketing messaging.
- Builds and manage social media campaigns to actively engage our customers and prospects to build online community-based relationships and traffic to our sites.
- Optimizes linking and keyword strategy for SEO and other best content marketing practices to! improve StudentAdvisor (and properties) traffic, ranking and ! popularity.
- Develops and maintains mailing lists for the distribution of online news letters, email marketing and engagement strategies.
- Prepares reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions for program improvements.
- Maintains relationships with product line managers, engineering, sales representatives, business representatives and other individuals as necessary to accomplish marketing/sales objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) Marketing/Advertising/Business.
- 2-4 years of relevant marketing experience with an in-house marketing department or creative agency/design/publicity firm.
- Working knowledge of HTML, web publishing, video and photo editing and social media marketing.
- A strong sense of organization, with strict attention to detail.
- Demonstrated flexibility to manage multiple tasks, solve proble! ms and schedule work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- High energy self-starter with desire to work in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial corporate environment.
