As a Product Designer you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the user experience for several areas within Pega’s Internal Applications Portfolio. You will be involve! d throughout each stage of the product life cycle (inception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities) working as an integral part of a larger cross-functional team that spans IT, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, HR, Sales and Service. User Story Creation
Use individual expertise to work with the Business Teams to translate market needs into clearly defined and detailed written product requirements
Independently translate market needs, Use Cases and business requirements into complete User Stories
Work directly with Development Managers and Engineers to assist in the design and development of a rich product backlog of top priority user experience-related content.

Design/Development Guidance
Review! the work of teammates to ensure quality and completeness against the User Story
Provide feedback and suggestions based on experience, knowledge and expertise
Produce detailed mock-ups, templates and code samples for specific product areas; challenges will range from a simple entry screen to an entire end to end process.
Build leading edge prototypes using Pega technology to further shape the application strategy.
Design and build sample applications and functionality using our latest product capabilities that demonstrate our capabilities and put forth a set of best practices.

Product Lifecycle Management
Scrum: Actively participate in the Scrum processes used to develop solutions
Provide continuous feedback and implement changes to our development processes
Provide oversight, thought leadership and direction during the Framework Development

Team with IT, Support, Marketing, Product Development and Product Management to define, design, develop, market, and deliver our solutions.

Industry Research & Market Analysis
Research innovative approaches to solving similar problems, remaining current on all related front-end technologies.
Evaluate other vendors and services within the tech industry and deliver on reuse, differentiation, positioning, and communications.
Required Qualifications:
5 â€" 7 years of business or consulting experience in target industry
2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in Product Management
2+ years of experience working in an agile/scrum team environment
2 -5+ years’ design and development experience
Solid grasp of leadingâ€"edge web technologies with an emphasis on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and architecture.
Familiarity with the various technical landscapes! of multi-channel business architectures; including CRM, web, mobile, l! egacy and 3rd party software systems and the key linkages between them.
Solid understanding of basic software design principles, best practices and dependencies.
Interest in participating in the design process for all user-facing components.
Strong client-facing interpersonal skills and superb oral and written communication skills.
Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time.
BS/BA or equivalent
