Senior Global Benefits Analyst
Sr. Global Benefits Analyst will assist in the analysis and administration of the employee benefit plans and programs. This position will support the planning, design, implementation, administration and evaluation of global benefit plans, programs/schemes and related services. Research and prepare analyses of country requirements, benefit comparisons, identify gaps or trends and recommend changes, where appropriate.
- Research, analyze, and evaluate global benefits policies, procedures, practices, and programs to determine areas of opportunity or risk.
- Conduct benefit surveys, gather competitive intelligence and evaluate global labor markets to determine benefit and indu! stry trends; competitive practices and country/government regu! lations/requirements.
- Track and analyze global benefits costs, evaluate cost drivers, recommend options and present findings.
- Monitor global regulatory changes impacting benefit plans/schemes and present findings.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, managers and HR Partners on all benefit issues; interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating benefit practices.
- Partners with HR leadership to provide corporate oversight of benefit programs; act as internal consultant regarding plan mechanics and design.
- Partner with and act as an internal consultant to employees, managers, HR Partners regarding benefit issues, trends, plan interpretation, policies and procedures.
- Participate in and complete benefit benchmark surveys.
- Liaise with third-party vendors, providers, brokers, governing authorities
- Ensure compliance with all country, statutory, federal, provincial, state and local benefits statutes ! and regulations.
- Complete benefits research and or/ analysis projects, as assigned.
- Manage Wellness Program and rollout globally acceptable country practices.
- Steward of benefits technology requirements and primary liaison with HRIS, IT and third-party vendors to support system testing, data interfaces in/out of the system, development of test plans, and the execution of plan changes and reporting. Implement and test benefit plan changes and new programs.
- Use data to monitor participation, utilization rates and trends on a regular basis.
- Identify problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions.
- Ensure the timely completion and submission of required governmental and organizational reports.
- Assist in the development of Request for Proposals and the evaluation of the RFP responses.
- Assist in the development of vendor performance metrics, evaluation and quality impr! ovement initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and update documentatio! n of process flows, administrative and standard operating procedures.
- Create and review employee benefit communication materials.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in the marketplace and best practices.
- Develop and produce regular benefit dashboard reports.
- Bachelorâs degree.
- 5-7 years benefit experience required; previous benefits experience with exposure to global benefits preferred
- Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or CEBS designations highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access & PowerPoint); Advanced Excel including pivot tables and formulas
- Excellent project management, analytical, and computational skills.
