Purpose of the job

Provide the

highest level of guest service and ensure smooth and effic! ient transition from one day to next day according to the Langham standards.

primary responsibilities

-

Audit all charges and postings, and correct postings as required

-

Manage inventory to maximize revenue and occupancy including making reservations during the overnight shift

-

Prepare, run and distribute all required reports after making sure that all figures are correct

-

Adjust

necessary changes for the reports such as Flash Report to show accurate figures

-

Process all payment according to the Langham standards

-

Assume all responsibilities of the hotel for the overnight shift by making logical, service oriented and hotel responsible decisions to ensure the smooth operations of the shift

-

Mange all hotel overnight staff while respecting individual department procedures and assume all responsibilities for the hotel during the ! overnight shift

-

Communicate with Departmen! t Heads as necessary and appropriate regarding overnight staff issues

-

All Duties of Front Desk Agents, Supervisor and Assistant Front Office Manager, including check- outs and check- ins during the shift

-

Ensure maximum level of guest service while maintaining Leading and Langham Hotel standards

-

Additional duties not mentioned above may also be requested by Supervisor

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

-

Work together with Front Office Manager to help run smoother night operations

Requirement

.

• Previous hotel management or Front Desk supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of the Front Office Operations required
• Previous Front Desk management or supervisory experience at similar property preferred
• Ability to make appropriate decisions and resolve situations in a professional, timely and service oriented manner required
!
• Ability to multitask, lead and motivate people strongly desired
• Ability to anticipate situations to prevent negative consequences and to provide maximum guest satisfaction required
• College degree preferred but not required
• Detailed oriented and Team work oriented
• Multi Language skills a plus
