Location: Cambridge Massachusetts

• 3 month consulting role
• $16 â€" 18 per hour based on experience
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities include:
1. Insurance eligibility
2. Verification of benefits
3. Information obtained needs to ensure coverage for services at the Hospital
4. Obtain required referrals for billing/payment activity as necessary by contacting insurance carrier
5. Perform various account updates to patient’s accounts
6. Contact patients and/or their families to obtain or clarify financial information
7. Assist and respond to patient inquiries regarding their account.

Experience/Skills:
1. Experience with IDX is highly preferable
2. 2+ years of experience in same or similar role in a healthcare environment is required
3. History of working in a busy environment
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Reliable and dependable is a must
