The Merchandise Planning Coordinator is responsible for providing support in the seasonal set up of product in the SAP environment as well as the pr! ocessing of production to make certain Keds delivers the right product to the right place at the right time and in the correct quantity. This position will work closely with Merchandise Planning, Product, Finance, and Customer Operations to accomplish established objectives. The Merchandise Planning Administrator is responsible for contributing to the organizational culture by delivering results and driving continuous improvement to better meet Customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Product, Merchandise Planning, Finance, Shared Services, and Customer Operations to develop each seasonal SAP master date input by gathering all appropriate information
- Assign Plant designations to each developed material
- Validate RTD v FCD, identify discrepancies, and highlight variance details to Merchandise Planning Managers
- Maintain initial delivery date table and validate spec lock database
- Communicate monthly buy quantit! ies in conjunction with the Merchandise Planning and Sourcing ! teams
- Enter production POs with Merchandise Planning Manager guidance
- Assign sales & purchase grids & size production POs with Merchandise Planning Manager guidance
- Attach proforma invoices to approved purchase orders for direct production (SAP)
- Revise purchase order line item detail (eg air freight line splits, delay line splits) to ensure SAP reflects themost accurate ETAs for Customer deliveries
- Coordinate delivery schedules between sourcing, logistics, and customer ops and communicate any variances to the appropriate parties
- Maintain an air-freight log in pairs/dollars. This document is used by heads of Merchandising & Finance to track air freight costs versus budget
- Update Style Status coding (eg new, continuing, no longer purchasing, etc.) with direction of Merchandise Planning/Sales Operationss teams
- Supply/Demand match report generation
- Maintain and update and distribute weekly commerci! alization calendar
- Create materials (items) in SAP based on information provided on sourced documents by communicated deadlines
- Resolve any data upload inconsistencies with Product team guidance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related experience and 1+ years of planning experience in wholesale and/or retail environments (ideally knowledge base of both areas desirable)
- SAP experience a plus
- Strong Excel Skills and the ability to develop robust models and create outputs which clearly communicate results and influence stakeholders
