This challenging position has overall responsibility for helping to organize and coordinate daily operations out of th! e housekeeping department. This includes working with room and! /or public area attendants to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests. In this role you will a
ssist with distributing and monitoring room assignments to ensure proper coverage while you ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
You will complete
paperwork and closing duties such as filling out supply requisitions, maintenance request forms, and updating log books etc. and m
ay perform all housekeeping duties necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
A High S
chool Diploma or equivalent is required, plus 1-2 year housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel of a similar size and complexity, including some supervisory training/experience.
You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
This job requires comprehensive underst! anding and knowledge of computer systems and extensive communication over the phone.
This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 200 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, and frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
Abliity to speak multiple languages appreciated.
