BAS! IC FUNCTION
The Regulatory Consultant will provide consulting, advisory, and implementation services to assist clients in their efforts to meet responsibilities under compliance laws and regulations, including consumer protection and fair lending laws, HMDA, CRA, and BSA/AML. The Regulatory Consultant will also assist clients with efficiently utilizing WKFS applications, know the WKFS products thoroughly, understand how WKFS clients might use the products to meet their regulatory obligations, understand and communicate industry best practices, translate recommendations into requirements documents for implementation, and provide end user training on WKFS products. The Regulatory Consultantâs projects will be overseen by a Senior Manager and Director.

- Quality of Consulting and Implementations (Client Satisfaction and product/market knowledge)

- Completion of Projects on time and within Budget
Consulting and Implementation (95%)
- Perform consulting and advisory services including examination preparation, remediation of regulatory issues, development of compliance policies and procedures, evaluation of compliance management systems, compliance risk assessments, fair lending reviews, comparative file reviews, CRA self-assessments, CRA and HMDA data integrity reviews, BSA/AML program reviews, and compliance training on utilizing WKFS products or services to meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide regulatory guidance and client support in connection with product implementation.
- Process, analyze and report on customer data using WKFS CRA/Fair Lending Wiz & Fair Lending Wiz Web product lines.
- Utilize CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz to analyze lending, deposit, and/or servicing data.
- Understand clientâs general business and technology environment, and! work with team members to recommend and implement solutions.
- Identification of additional opportunities for WKFS products and services and improvements to client processes.
- Track project hours, create project templates and process improvements as assigned.
- Complete ongoing professional development as available.
- Participate in the creation of webcasts, compliance blogs, white papers, and other compliance guidance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in compliance at a financial institution, bank regulatory agency, or as a consultant specializing in compliance.
- Broad range of compliance regulatory knowledge as it impacts bank operations in a range of bank sizes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a bank compliance department, consulting firm, or bank regulatory agency.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance laws and regulations, including CRA, HMDA and Fair Lending, BSA/AML, and consumer protection.
- Solution Oriented - Strong analytical, reasoning, trouble shooting and team-based problem solving skills
- Entrepreneurial â" ability to work both collaboratively/autonomously on multiple projects
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of legal ethics and the ability to use good judgment and discretion, including confidentiality
- Ability to analyze information, create conclusions and communicate such information effectively in both written and oral formats
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; including strong customer services skills and the ability to analyze and communicate customer needs and requirements
- Strong t! ime management of high priorities and critical deadlines.
- Abil! ity to travel extensively and to effectively plan and manage travel schedules.
- Ability to review current processes and data flow and recommend best practices for ongoing use of systems
- Ability to clearly document client operational and compliance processes
- CRAWiz / FLWiz user
- Experience delivering consulting services or conducting bank examinations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert user of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Ability to crystallize ideas, communicate them to others, and bring them to fruition
This is a full-time position that may include significant US travel, approximately 70%. Depending on the project and phase, work may be done at! client sites. This position is expected to be 80% billable in any given year.
