Supports team and producer in daily production- including answering phone, getting
lunch, maintaining producer’s contacts and calendar, open! ing mail, booking
producer and guest travel, creating pitch boards and background materials,
going on shoots, copying scripts, copying/printing show materials, some script
writing, project management and post-show notes, and other administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Research/resourcefulness - proficient in Lexis/Nexis, internet searches, DT searches (viewer emails).
Being resourceful in searching for guests, doing research, and obtaining footage.
Master organizer of daily task and a wide range of projects.
Organize travel and greet show guests in a respectful and professional manner.
Assist in logging tapes.
Serve as liaison between the legal department and the team as needed.
Assist producer in maintaining, updating, and finalizing show folders.
Responsible for obtaining and clearing any footage and stills needed for production of a show.
Stay current! on all news events.
Qualifications:
Must ! have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Production Assisistant in Television Production.
College Degree.
Consistently demonstrates solution driven communication.
Maintains confidentiality.
Team player-works consistently to mesh well with supervisor, teammates, other department members and fellow staffers.
Both inside and outside the company represents a respectful, professional manner.
Exceptional phone etiquette.
Must have a “can do attitudeâ€.
